Re: my amiga 1200        By: David Baldwin to Peter Hall on Mon May 13 2013 01:50 pm              I must agree, the workmanship was much higher when computers, and consumer       electronics in general were considered an investment, rather than a cheap       disposable device that'l Be thrown out with the next fad. Everything was built       like tanks, with heavy metal (haha, no pun intended) cases. Most of my stuff       was free or inexpensive second hand, yet it was top of the line back in the       day, and will outlast the junk people spend more money on buying new. But       sadly, many people dont plan to keep their current purchases, as they'll just       wastefully throw it out for something newer but of lower quality, for a       television ad told them to.              FroggyMe       /S                      > Re: my amiga 1200        > By: Peter Hall to David Baldwin on Mon May 13 2013 04:05 am        >         > > Re: my amiga 1200        > > By: David Baldwin to All on Mon May 13 2013 03:25 am        > >        > > That's really cool!
