|    kickstart loading    |

Hi!              I'm looking for information on the kickstart loader routine of an A1000. Are       there any checksums done on the data read from the two first sectors of the       kickstart diskette?       I know of the checksum on the kickstart diskette. A disassembly and/or       information on the kickstart loader are very much appreceated. Where are the       code located in memory, when/how, if at all, is it removed from the address       space?              I'm at a VERY EARLY stage of trying to implement my own OS for the A1000. Any       information towards that goal are very much appreceated.              btw: I'm not interested in joining some already existing OS project. I want to       do this from scratch by my own, but I obviously need some help collecting the       information needed for such a project.               -bgk              --- BBBS/LiI v4.01 Flag-5        * Origin: ErrorsHQ (2:211/16)    |
