   That was Red Hat (best I can recall). I even started off in a bad way   
   as it didn't support my video card. Later, I got ahold of a more recent   
   version that did work ok and used it for a bit but, still didn't find   
   it very user friendly. I actually felt more comfortable using   
   windwoes!!

   yes, real Amiga hardware is getting older and older and harder to keep   
   going. When I had trouble with my A4000t a couple of months ago, I was   
   seriously considering just using Amithlon or Amiga Forever and   
   forgetting about the hardware all together.

   hmm, more recent verions of Amiga Forever are REAL slow on my pc. I   
   wonder if that JIT has something to do with my problems? Might be worth   
   a look into.
