   What was the linux distro was it ? YDL is working out for some of the   
   Amigans who had unhappiness in Debian. Since MAI is the author of Teron   
   and the A1, it may the better taylored linux for A1s. I'm taking notes   
   for now! ;-)

   I decided to get the A1 based just on fact the A2K was getting too old.   
   That was a good call becasue the A2K fizzled out around the time the A1   
   showedup. Lucky me -- and it order about a year in advance! =:o   
      
   I recently installed OS3.9 and some programs. My favorite file manager --   
   ClassAction 4.5 runs nice. Oh, and I intalled Thor 2.6; found my key file   
   stashed away on a CD; using Thor right now and GoldEd v5.0. IBrowse   
   2.3 (reg) runs very solid in the current UAE Update (12-23-03). I tried   
   to get Amirc3.5 to run with no luck. I don't what's the problem. :-/   
   I've been using KVirc in linux, but it has some issues with play sounds   
   on CTCP or DDC channel; it crashes.   
      
   Two killers of speed on the A1, DMA via ArticiaS and JIT engine for UAE.

   Someone was pleading on AmigaWorld about when, and the best answer was   
   down to weeks now. It will nice to see Hans-Jorg Frieden's tagline --   
   OS4: It'll be ready, when it's ready! -- disappear! :)
