Hi, Rene:                You recently wrote ...                -> Does the caps lock led flash, or the power led?                 The power light, on the front of the case, lights up. Sorry, but I        don't recall if any lights on the keyboard lit up.                -> Remove all expansion boards and check if the box works. Then re-insert one        -> card        -> after the other to check which one is causing the problem. Maybe the        -> harddisk        -> itself is dead, or it's time to switch around CIA chips to see if this is       th        -> problem. Do you have any non-standard colors on-screen when booting (that       is        -> something else than light grey and dark grey)?        ->         OK, I'll give the expansion card thing a shot. The harddrive does        spin up, but I get no bootup procedure. And there is absolutely no        picture on the monitor -- it is blank. Even if the HD was dead, you'd        think it would try to boot off df0: -- but none of that happens. :-(                 Anyway, thanks for the tips. I'll see if anything can be done.                Sincerely, David Veatch - EastPointe BBS Remote Sysop        --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5        * Origin: Eastpointe BBS (1:120/228)    |
