It did somethings with your miggy and reportedly hacked Kickstart in a
non-standard way so that it would run, but only on certain KS versions.

With two 9 GB hard disks, you don't have too much of an option, I'm afraid.
AmigaFFS didn't support large disks, and PFS was the only thing that worked
   more or less.

   DS> What's SAP? IBM's RS6000 go for about $500grand. What for?

SAP is called a 'middleware', or some atrocious business software. The GUI
actually reminds you of a mainframe, with the worst features of AIX, OS/390
   and
MS-DOS combined. The only saving grace is that so many people have bought it
and there's a user base so large that SAP won't go under. And there's so much
in the 3rd party software module area that you're bound to find a complete
solution for your company, even if you manufacture small gerbils for
   ummm....special pleasures. ;)

And the RS/6000 I have at my disposal just has two CPUs, not 8 - so it was
   not
that awfully expensive, even back then......

   DS> Sorry about that! It's -- soft3.net. www.soft3.net/pages/pictures_e.php
DS> Mr. Redhouse was upset with them for posting it! =:o

   Merci beaucoup!
