   Not really difficult. There are Fido editors on Linux, and probably also QWK    
   if   
    you're looking hard enough.

   vi is good as long as you can use the cursor keys as you're used from the   
   Amiga. The big problems come when you have to work with some retarded    
   terminal   
   that doesn't support cursor keys, but things like ESC-x (delete), ESC-e   
   (advance one character) or ESC-l (last char). Luckily, Olaf Barthel's term    
   had   
   a few useful key mappings for this. Not so on Linux, here we're stuck with   
   braindead terminals on non-Linux OSes.
