   IIRC a purple screen is some broken chip RAM, but it would be interesting to   
   know how many times the power led blinks so we can tell what might be broken    
   as   
   well.   
      
   What I would try is to remove and reinsert all socketed chips to see if this   
   rubs away the layer of oxidation that accumulated over the years.

   The good old CED! I should give it a try again, but I've become too spoiled

   If it involves soldering the motherboard, it's a love question, because the   
   cost will be high. What I suggest is to for the the AmigaOne. As I'm
