   Hi DENNIS,
In a message dated 27 Mar 03 you wrote to CRAIG HUTCHISON :

I have seen so many people put off upgrading their Amigas because of the
vapourware bull that's been put out over the last half decade and more. I
remember people back in 1996 putting off buying faster than an 030 because
"they're waiting for the A\Box, which will be here next month!"

Essentially, in *this* market, don't put off buying *ANYTHING* just because
someone else has promised something better due 'really soon now'. I'm not
saying the AmigaOne won't appear, but you've had it on pre-order for nearly a
   year!

I don't know what specification your A2000 is now, but even over a 25MHz 040
the 50MHz 060 is a good four times faster or more for most things. And being
able to add 128MB RAM will make just about anything usable (which will be
expensive compared to todays DIMMs, but a fraction of the cost of what it was
   a few years ago).
