   AmiWest 2024, the 27th AmiWest show celebrating over 37 years of the Amiga   
   history and over two decades of AmiWest. AmiWest week will happen from October   
   25th to October 27th, at the Holiday Inn Express Cal Expo, 2224 Auburn   
   Blvd.,Sacramento, California 95821,USA.

   The hotel code for AmiWest 2024 is active on the IHG CalExpo website.  This   
   hotel has served the show for many years and we are excited to continue our   
   relationship with the property. The negotiated rates for 2024, are $159 per

   We are excited to announce that the legendary Commodore engineer Dave Haynie   
   will be in person at AmiWest 2024. Dave joined C= in 1983 and worked his way   
   to become the primary engineer on the A2000 project following the C=   
   acquisition of Amiga Inc. Dave has been attending and speaking at Commodore   
   and Amiga shows in the US and internationally for many years. We are excited   
   to have him join us this year.    
      
   The show will be three days in 2024. In past years we used Thursday and Friday   
   for the AmiWest on site DevCon. For 2024 we are going to change our format and   
   shift the DevCon to a virtual event, more details will be provided in the   
   coming weeks. For Friday, October 25th, the show will focus on long form   
   presentations on leading hardware and software projects.   
      
   AmiWest 2024 theme is "Get your game on!". Gaming has been a mainstay of the   
   Amiga platform since before it's inception. The last few years have seen a   
   resurgence in Amiga games and gaming across all platform flavors. This year   
   AmiWest will focus on a celebration of all things Amiga gaming. This includes   
   HW innovations, the latest modern retro releases, the latest game engines like   
   Redpill, Hollywood, and Scorpion, with the latest tools like UniJoysticle.
