CHRS: LATIN-1 2       MSGID: 1:387/29 6367B6AE       TZUTC: 0000       Hi To all!       I'm just reliving those days long gone... The conversation here from last       year seemd to be about FidoNet, still alive and kicking. Back in the late       1980's I had my Amiga 1000, then 500, then 2000, and I somehow got the       source code for the ConfMail tosser and did a bit of work to make it work       better on the Amiga. Better. Not great. :) Then I passed it off to Greg       Block. When I left the Amiga scene in the early to mid 1990's (so sad!), I       got rid of everything. I would love to get a copy of that old ConfMail       source code just for fun, but none of that ancient FidoNet software seems       to be around anymore, much less the source. I did find one reference to it,       though, on a BBS file list text file, but nothing more.       So glad to see there is still life here where things generally semed to be       much more sane than the current internet and social media. Not always, I       remember plenty of characters from back in the day... :)       Thanks for letting me ramble!       --- /X Tosser        * Origin: Amiga Underground BBS amigaunderground.com port 2300 (1:387/29)       SEEN-BY: 19/38 106/633 987 124/5014 5016 130/330 229/426 280/464 387/25 26 29       SEEN-BY: 396/45       PATH: 387/29 396/45           |
