Hi Tim,              On 2018-09-25 11:11:32, you wrote to All:               TG> I have been trying to post a message here about AmiWest 2018. For        TG> whatever reason, it is packed up and sent out but never shows up        TG> anywhere. My other messages in this echo are going out OK. I am        TG> wondering if it has anything to do with the number of weblinks in the        TG> email. There are several links to webpages.               TG> Are there checks somewhere along the way that might check for this and        TG> block the mail if there are too many?              Doubtfull. It's not done to filter echomail in fidonet. All I know is, there       are spamfilters on usenet gateways.               TG> Just wondering, I don't know what else it could be.              Maybe you somehow duplicated the msgid, and the message got recognised and       dumped as dupe?              But that is easy to test. Just copy/paste the message text to a new message,       and make sure it has a new msgid, and make sure you change some detail of the       text, so it won't generate the same checksum on other systems. And send...              Bye, Wilfred.              --- FMail-lnx64 2.1.0.18-B20170815        * Origin: FMail development HQ (2:280/464)    |
