The same thing goes for the Amiga...              Soldering new capacitors on a Commodore 64 printed circuit shouldn't be too       hard to do.       Finding the capacitors might be the hard part if You don't have any place near       by to buy them.              I use to buy parts from Radio Shack because they were located closer to my       home than the Wholesale Radio-TV Parts stores were.              Also I think the C=64 PC Board is an ordinary double sided board instead of       a multi-layer PC Board, or Surface Mounted PC Board.              If a electrolytic capacitor POPS it is easy to see which one on the PC Board       gave up the ghost.       And then there is the smell.......                     ...
