I have D-STAR and DMR. No DMR infrastructure out here, until I put a MMDVM on
the air later this year, I've only experienced DMR on simplex. I find DMR
sounds a little better than D-STAR, but both are perfectly fine for me. Oh,
and my DMR radios cost me nothing, I won them as part of a promotion over a
year ago. They're nice FM rigs too. :)
