   EV>to shut down the power again, change a part, turn the power back on.   
      
   EV>I was a Radioman not a ET, so I wasn't taking part in the repairs to the   
   EV>Radar System, I just thought that maybe I could learn something from   
   EV>watching the ETs at work.   
      
   I was an Interior Comunications Electricial and did the same thing on   
   a Submarine because of my Interenst in "Electronics". Which by the way   
   when I was in high School was called "Radio Electricity"   
      
   Because fo the warm up burn in time on a New Tube the ET's built a rack   
   with sockets for a set of finals with filament power so they were ready   
   to go in case of a failure.
