   Yep it's the curse of HAM operating, having to keep working on antenna that   
   fail/fall down etc..

   OK that sounds like the better way for us to go then. I can start taking   
   steps over the next couple of months to get my inverted V set up again. Once   
   done it would be fun to try and make some contacts on 20/40/80 meters for   
   folks reading here.
