   Not sure what 'Ham Tech Net' is... here we use IRLP every Sunday night to link   
   a number of 2 meter repeaters covering an area approx 3-4 hours drive from the   
   city I live in. There are folks from about 4-5 branches of NZART that all come   
   on and take part in our weekly Branch 30 net.   
      
    KT> I only use the VHF side, the only UHF radio I have is a 2 watt HT from   
    KT> China that doesn't quiet measure up to my Yaesu Ft2500M :)   
      
   I'm running an IC 2720 that gives me reasonable coverage on both bands, the HF   
   rig is an old Kenwood TS 440S. Got to sort my inverted V so I can get back on   
   80 meters again.
