   Those were great receivers.  I had a Hamarlund hq180 years   
   ago.  currently have an hq129 which I'd like to get the hx50 Hamarlund   
   transmitter to go with it.   
      
   A friend of mine had the old jOhnson Viking 2, worked 75   
   meters with it all the time, am mode of course.   
      
   Did anybody see the Popular communications series a couple   
   months back wehre the guy that does the restoration column   
   was restoring an old Hallicrafters ht-37 transmitter, one of their first that   
   did ssb?
