RW>Greetings TOM!                     RW> RW> TW>> The twin bom antennas is called a "Real World" LPDA              RW> RW>> 'Real World' can and is used to describe a lot of things. That       RW> RW>> doesn't change when we're talking about antennas.              RW> TW>> becasue it is much easer to construct. But Both use the same Theory       RW> TW>> and give the same Results              RW> RW>> That's debateable.              RW> TW> Not This Time Roy, not at all.              RW>Where's your link to such a build?              RW> TW> What i am desctibing is build directly using the LPDA antenna Theory       RW> TW> Drawing on hte Internet.              RW>Link?              I sent a Liknk before and you apparently Ignored it.              RW> TW> And is an Absolute copy Theory Wise as what you are talking about       RW> TW> except for the using of a single boom with all the elements insulated       RW> TW> from the boom and uses wiring in place of the Two Booms which perfom       RW> TW> the same purpose as the wireing in the antenna I am talking about              RW>That isn't LPDA theory...LPD antennas include the boom as an active part       RW>of the antenna. What you've done is isolate the boom(s) from being an       RW>active part of the antenna and only using the dipoles. I really can't see       RW>building such a monster, when it is so much easier to build a LPDA...              Only the one you are talking about has two booms with the Boons being a       part of the feel line to the elements.              I have one of the antennas I am talking about on my roof constructed       from the Pure Origional LDPA theory drawing, Which I perviously linked,       where all the elements are insulated from the support boom and are       connected by a crossover wiring system, as in the theory drawing, so All       elements are connected to the coax. Half to the center conductor and       half to the Shield.              ---        þ SLMR 2.1a þ 0         * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 bbs.docsnetservices.com (1:123/140)    |
