Greetings TOM!               RW> TW>> Well there are stations doing it. Both Ch 8 & 10 here trasnmit        RW> TW>> additional TV signals in addition to their Main Programing.               RW>> Well, you do know that they don't transmit that programming on the        RW>> edge of their allocated bandwidth, don't you?               TW> i NEVER said NOR implied that.              You didn't have to. It was clear that this is what you meant.               TW> IF you would go back you would see I said the main channel definition        TW> had to be reduced IF subchannels are transmitted              Not correct for a digital signal. The same (6MHz) bandwidth is used for       digital information as was used for the old analog information. The big       difference is that a digital signal is compressed, both in picture and       sound. Thus the ability to add 4 digital channels in the same bandwidth.              Adding a 5th channel requires even more compression, which only serves to       reduce the picture and sound quality of all 5 channels. Instead of 1080       lines, you get 720 or even less. The less lines you have, the less pixels       you will get.               Have a day!               R\%/itt - K5RXT              --- GoldED+/W32 1.1.5-31012       --- D'Bridge 3.99        * Origin: HAM Radio, aka Amateur Radio. 804?
