Sionce there is still some confusion about what Roy and I were       discussing on the subject I decided to post a reference showing that we       are BOTH right. The LPDA I was refering to is a pure edition of the       Basic Theory while Roys version is modified to make it easier to       construct. The origional implementation had to have ALL the "Elements"       insulated from the support boom and wiring used to alteanate the left       and right conections as in figure 1 in my reference web page. In the       later design it uses two support booms and the left and right elements       alternate which boom they are connected to baciclly eliminating the       additional wiring as in Figure 4 and 5 in the reference.       The end result is the same and I was NOT talking about a Standard Yagi              http://tinyurl.com/k3pbqve              to make Roy Smile again! :-) :-)       ---        þ SLMR 2.1a þ 0         * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 bbs.docsnetservices.com (1:123/140)    |
