RW>When I was a youngster in the 50s, we had a ham that lived two houses up       RW>and across the street from us. His xmitter interfered with our TV       RW>reception and my parents complained to him about it. He didn't xmit during       RW>primetime TV and everybody was happy. I don't think my dad knew that if he       RW>complained to the FCC, they'd put a stop to his interfering, but I know my       RW>dad never complained to the FCC.              Teh cause of hte 6 meter interference was because of Poor Design of the       TV front end and the FCC did not really clamp down. There were traps       avilable to help and of course the cooperation by the Ham like your       neighbor hepled.              ---        þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom Strkes Again        * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 bbs.docsnetservices.com (1:123/140)    |
