Greetings TOM!                      RW> RW>>> You're using a VHF antenna to receive UHF digital stations 8 &        RW> RW>>> 10? That's odd.               RW> TW>> NO as I stated I am using a High Band VHF TV antanna. Low Band        RW> TW>> covers channel 2 thru 6 and High covers Channel 7 thru 13               RW>> No wonder you're not getting all of the HD channels. You need a UHF        RW>> antenna for those. Channel 8 and 10 are still on VHF, but the rest        RW>> of the stations in SD are on UHF frequencies. i.e. Channel 6 (calls        RW>> itself 6.1 now) is now broadcasting on UHF channel 23, etc..               TW> you are not paying any attnetion to what I am saying.              I'll admit that it is hard to keep up with your situation. I can't       remember every little word that has passed between us.               TW> As you Know the UHF stations are in a totally different direction        TW> then the VHF channels              Perhaps you didn't know that Ch-10 owns property on top of Mt San Miguel       ... they could have moved there since I left SD or not. Channel 39 and 51       are located on that mountain. I forget where Ch-15 is located, but if       they're not located on Miguel, they may still be on Mt Soladad...               TW> Because of this I CHoOSE to use a VHF Hi Anttenna pointed        TW> toward the Ch 8 & 10 transmitter tower location.              Which is where?               TW> For the UHF antenna, as STATED above, I tried two different gigh gain        TW> UHF ONLY antennas and the signals were still was to weak to be        TW> Watchable!!!!!!!!              This isn't a shouting match, it's a conversation. You only need one ! to       make your point. I'm not deaf! i.e. all CAPS and over-use of punctuation       is not online ethical. But you already know that.              We use all caps to indicate an acronym such as UHF, ZIP, TV, LPA, etc..              For help in receiving the UHF channels in your area, here is a link to a       sight that will use your ZIP, physical address and antenna height above       ground to give you the direction and suggest an antenna that will give you       reception. They also provide you with each channel within range and       direction to point your Yagi or LPA TV antenna.              http://www.antennaweb.org/default.aspx              I entered a guess of your ZIP as 92040 and an address on Lakeside Blvd.       Here's a list of channels you should be able to get, if located at this       location. I know that you live at a higher elevation than Lakeside Blvd,       but I couldn't remember the street, so this is what you can get from the       lower elevation of the city on Lakeside Blvd.              Stations Antenna              KNSD-DT 39.1 NBC       RF Channel: 40       12 miles at 182ø Yellow              KPBS-DT 15.1 PBS       RF Channel: 30       12 miles at 182ø Yellow              KSWB-DT 69.1 FOX       RF Channel: 19       12 miles at 183ø Yellow              KUSI-DT 51.1 IND       RF Channel: 18       12 miles at 182ø Yellow              KSDX-LP 29 IND       RF Channel: 29       12 miles at 182ø Light Green              KSDX-LD 9.1 IND       RF Channel: 9       12 miles at 182ø Red              XEWT 12 TVA       RF Channel: 12       26 miles at 195ø Blue              XEWT-DT 12.1 TVA       RF Channel: 12       26 miles at 195ø Violet              "Up to 12 channels from 8 over-the-air stations may be received at this       location."                      Have a day!               R\%/itt - K5RXT              --- GoldED+/W32 1.1.5-31012       --- D'Bridge 3.99        * Origin: HAM Radio, aka Amateur Radio. 804?
