MK>Why does General and Extra Class license people think they are better then       MK>a Non Code Tech? Just becasue you have a xtra bands that you can work doesn'       MK>make you any better then anyone. Just be glad that we are in Ham Radio.              Well in a sense they are Far Better in Technology Knowledge and       operating teniques.       Now of course thet does not give them the right tpo lok down their noses       at those not as expert as they are. BUT I have found that those types       are i nthe miniority but unfortunatly have the biggest mouths.       just consider the source and ignore them. This General Class Licence       heartly welcomes you to the Ham Community and Enjoy the hobby no matter       what portion of Ham Radio it might be.              MK>This is Why I don't join in any clubs anymore.              I have about given up on the clubs at least as far as attending meetings       goes. Soem years back before i upgraded I had to sit throught the Clubs       Head VE diatribe about why No Code techs were not Real Hams.       But saddly there are those types in almost every Club.       the El Cajon California Ham Club in hte last year had to tolerate a very       nasty Fued that almost destroyed the club. In fact it split and a group       statrrted thgeir Own Lalkside California Ham colub. but enough hard       feelings were left behind that they drove off and caused the Presidnet       Elected by the Membership after the split to resign.              ---        þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom strikes agaoin        * Origin: Since 1991 And Were Still Here!
