   I had 4 VCR's and Two TV's so that to use a 6 way splitter.   
   I was having trouble with a couple of the olderst VCR's and they no   
   longer include tuners I decided to go with the TiVo system Hard   
   Drive Recorder.   
   The one I picked up can record 4 programs at the same time, I   
   did have to rent a "Cable Card" from the Cox cable though.   
   I will be keeping one of the VCR/DVD units for recording a analog   
   channel since the Cable Card is digital only.playing back some VCR tapes   
   I have and DVD's reducing my meed to only a 4 in One splitter
