Tom and Roy,              Looking at my TV Antenna in some old photos using Irfanview,       and then holding a CTRL key down and spinning the mouse wheel to       Zoom In I don't see any Crossing of the wires along side of the       boom, as it would be if it was a Log Periodic Antenna (LPA).              Those wires run parallel to the boom so that makes the Wineguard       TV antenna a Yagi.              When My old Boss moved and asked me if I wanted to buy his TV antenna       I couldn't even use it when I lived out in the country, but here in       the 'BIG City' when I decided to put it up with some Mast sections       I got from Radio Shack, I went to a Electronic Parts Store and got       the Adapter to put on the antenna so I could use RG-6(?) coax instead       of using 300 Ohm Twin Lead that the Adapter had on the antenna when       I bought it from my Boss.              I KNEW when he asked me if I wanted the antenna THAT Wineguard had       all kinds of accessories for their antennas, PLUS I didn't like the       looks of the other tv antenna makers antennas.              Those other antennas might have been LPA's and I didn't know it,       but I KNEW WHAT A YAGI WAS!, and I WANTED ONE OF THOSE Wineguard       antennas if I ever was to buy one for myself. |
