   I used to think that way when I was an experimenting CBer c1965, chasing a   
   high SWR with coax lengths in intervals of 'wavelengths' and parts   
   thereof.   
      
   When you get an education in 'antenna theory', a balun or a gamma match is   
   so much easier to fab and put into service.
