I have used echolink        JA> quite a bit, and I was building a linux box to use        JA> as a node on one of the services (I forget what it's        JA> called... had an issue with the sound card I ordred        JA> from eBay and just abandoned the project).               Apparently so.                I missed doing that net tonight, as I was at a Zoom Meeting       for the Net Controls for the HandiHam Radio Club.               As I've noted, there are too many nets, too many modes, too       much confusion, too little time to check into them, and too few       folks wanting to be Net Control.               The net meets most Mondays, EXCEPT during the weeks of Easter,       Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas,       and New Years Day.               I'm normally the scribe for the net...but I connect via the iptelnet       client with the Outpost Packet program.               Most of the time, my modes are on D-Star. But, with Santa bringing        me a SharkRF M1KE as an early Christmas present, I can now do AllStar.              73,              Daryl, N5VLZ              ...
