A       list of all the nets that I can be found on during the week is at the       hyperlink on my QRZ bio -- look for the link that notes "Nets Where       N5VLZ is Net Control".               Nets on The QuadNet Array utilize the modes of D-Star, DMR+, WIRES-X,       and Fusion, together on one site. Go to openquad.net for more details,       and connection options. Note that the QuadNet Array no longer offers       connections via Echolink, or Brandmeister via DMR.               Nets on The Sunflower Network utilize the modes of AllStar, D-Star, DMR,       Echolink, Fusion, M17, P25, and TGIF. For more details and connection       options, go to www.sunflowernet.us               With multiple modes on each of these, it's best to have several ways       to connect, in case one or more of these modes is down at net time.               Times are noted in local US time, and in UTC (when the US is on Standard       Time). Take note of the following caveats in regards to net times:              1) In the US, Standard Time is from the first Sunday in November, to the       2nd Sunday in March...with Daylight Savings Time the rest of the year.              2) UTC Time (noted when the US is on Standard Time) is ONE HOUR EARLIER       when the US is on Daylight Savings Time, as noted above.              3) Arizona, Hawaii, and the US territories are on Standard Time year       round. In this case, during Daylight Savings Time, their net times are       ONE HOUR EARLIER.              4) Confirm the net times with Net Control if you have questions.              5) Last minute changes and cancellations can occur at any time.              ***              Tuesday:              ***              Net Name: Arklatex D-Star Net       Meets On: Reflector 48B -- also on the St. Tammany Ratflector on D-Rats.       Backup Reflector: Reflector 73B       Net Control: Daryl Stout, N5VLZ              UTC Net Time: 0130 UTC Wednesday during US Standard Time, 0030 UTC Wednesday       the rest of the year.       US Net Time: 8:30pm Eastern, 7:30pm Central, 6:30pm Mountain, 5:30pm Pacific              Comments: While originating in the Arklatex (Arkansas, Louisiana, and       Texas) area, any properly licensed amateur radio operator, with privileges       to transmit on D-Star or D-Rats, is welcome to checkin.              On checkins, please advise if you are "Short Time", or want to be just       "Listen Only". If either is the case, once ackowledged, you can secure       your station at your leisure, and go on your way.              Note that if Skywarn Severe Weather Operations are ongoing at net time,       the net that evening is CANCELED, in deference to safety and severe       weather operations.              Methods to checkin are as follows:              1) Checkin on REF 48 B (or REF 73 B is REF 48 B is offline).              2) Via the IM Utility with Netlogger (netlogger.org). Those stations that       connect then drop are noted as NO RESPONSE.              3) On the St. Tammany Ratflector (sttammany.ratflector.com) on D-Rats.       thanks to Glen Strecker, KG5CEN, for the use of the ratflector. Net       Control will be under N5VLZ during the net. If the node is down, there       won't be D-Rats checkins that evening.              4) Via the Arklatex D-Star Net Facebook Page.              5) Via email to n5vlz@arrl.net or vhfnetmanager@qcwa.org              6) Via APRS with a quick note to N5VLZ-10              7) Via Ham.Live              Checkin methods 3-6 are automatically noted as "short time".              After the net is closed, stations have until 1:30pm Central Time on       Wednesday to post their checkin message request.       --- SBBSecho 3.30-Win32        * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS - Little Rock, Arkansas (1:19/33)       SEEN-BY: 19/25 33 38 41 105/81 106/201 987 124/5016 128/187 129/14       SEEN-BY: 129/305 153/7715 154/110 218/700 226/30 227/114 229/110 111       SEEN-BY: 229/200 206 307 317 400 426 428 470 616 664 700 705 266/512       SEEN-BY: 291/111 320/219 322/757 342/200 387/18 25 396/45 460/58 633/280       SEEN-BY: 712/848 902/26 5075/35       PATH: 19/33 396/45 229/426           |
