I monitor on a Yaesu       JO>VX 8d. I also have a Yaesu FT 221 but it isn't connected. Beyond       JO>that, I am studying for the General Class exam. Then it's on to       JO>Amateur Extra Class. Finding an exam in my area is hit or miss       JO>though. The local Amateur Radio Club hasn't posted any new exam       JO>dates in awhile.               COVID-19 has shut down most all ham radio activities...including       hamfests, license exams, classes, club meetings, etc. The 2 facilities I       was testing at in central Arkansas have done such, so I don't know when       I'll test again.               Some teams have done "online" or "remote" testing...but to me, there's       too great a potential for fraud by examinees, without VE's there to       monitor for cheating...never mind the logistics involved.               Sorry for the delay in replying...my BBS crashed 6 weeks ago (problems       with Internet Rex and Windows 10...likely a Microsoft Windows 10 Update       issue), then nearly nonstop thunderstorms. So, it made no sense to do       any BBS work. In the nearly 43 years I've been living in Arkanas, this       is the stormiest spring Tornado Season I've ever seen.              Daryl, WX4QZ, UALR Ham Radio Club VE Team Liaison              ===        þ OLX 1.53 þ Farts are just ghosts of the things we ate.       --- SBBSecho 3.10-Win32        * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS - tbolt.synchro.net (1:19/33)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 90/1 120/340 601 123/131 226/16 30 227/114 702 229/101       SEEN-BY: 229/200 424 426 616 664 1014 240/1120 1634 5138 5832 5853       SEEN-BY: 240/8001 8002 8005 249/206 317 400 261/38 280/5003 310/31       SEEN-BY: 313/41 317/3 320/219 322/757 335/364 342/200 382/147 633/280       SEEN-BY: 2432/390 2454/119       PATH: 19/33 396/45 261/38 240/1120 5832 229/426           |
