   I'll have to check the variables in MM. I do have the OS/2 version   
   installed here, but have only done some sporadic checks of it.

   My Dell laptop shows immeadetely if there are any WiFi connections   
   available. Most of them are secured with passwords but there's one   
   free available at a hotell near me that I have used some time when   
   my ordinary WiFi did not connect.   
      
   Also both my Lenovo laptops do show available WiFi hotspots but they   
   need some work to connect because they use WinXP.
