Hi Andy..               AB> Hello,               AB> Is anyone able to recommend an affordable SWR meter        AB> for use on frequencies below 500 MHz? I have a 10m mag        AB> -mount to trim and a 70cm dipole to put up at home.               AB> Thanks,        AB> - Andy, KB9YLW               AB> --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-3        AB> * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38)              Do you have access to a local library that has the QST magazines there you can       read? If you do you can see, for example, the major page after page listing       for the MFJ company. It has a really decent MFJ Analyzers on page 141 and a       pile of antenna tuners on page 145 of the May 2017 issue that all have SWR       meters on them. MFJ also has SWR meters only but not in the QST issue. You       can get on the Internet and do a search for 'SWR Meter' and my Seamonkey       Browser will immediately pop up a complete listing of all the MFJ models. It       has been a long time since I've bought this stuff but this should get you       started well. I've never had any bad luck with the MFJ brand of many of these       I have at various locations but not where I am entering this answer to you       from now.              Mike Luther as W5WQN from FidoNet 1:117/100                                   ---        * Origin: BV HUB CLL(979)696-3600 (1:117/100)    |
