Hi All,              I'm a Licensed Radio operator VE2OOX located in Canada I'm considering to       purchase a PocketWizard Plus III Flash Trigger       (http://plusiii.pocketwizard.com) for my Canon EOS 30D camera.                     The North America "FCC/IC models" operate on 340.00 - 354.00 MHz       The European and all other markets "CE models" operate on 433.42 - 434.42 MHz        In North America, the 433 MHz band is reserved for HAM Radio Amateur, making       the CE Model technically illegal to general users. But myself being a       licensed HAM Radio Operator I believe I should be fine with the CE model in       Canada.              My question is how reliable the 433 CE Model would be in Canada? In North       America, is the 433 MHz more crowded with [Radio Amateur] Activity than 340       MHz?        In short, having the option of either, I'm trying to decided with which model       to go. Any idea would be appreciated.       --- SBBSecho 2.12-Win32        * Origin: Trans-Canada BBS (wwww.trans-canada.org) (1:249/134)    |
