   Different road laws I suspect.  Here, private vehicles are not allowed to have   
   lights and sirens.  Only those which are part of an emergency service are   
   allowed to be fitted with and use the flashing lights and sirens.  And our DMOs   
   (the mechanics employed by the fire service) look after those.
