   I started with a Boafeng HT and added a Tytera TYT MD-380 DMR HT and a Yaesu   
   FT-450D HF transceiver.   
      
   The Baofeng is a great starting point as it has an unbeatable pr   
   ce/performance at 25 USD shipped ;)   
      
   You can then decide from there where you want to go.
