   I bought a couple of antennas on Amazon for my wife's TYT's - didn't   
   know Male vs Female, so I have two of the WRONG ones. :-)   
      
   I needed SMA Male & got SMA Female - I was going by the THREADS and not   
   the PIN. :-)   
      
   Anyway, I think the Baofeng uses SMA Female, if you need an antenna...   
      
   I'm trying to decide what to do when I get my General... I don't have   
   a big budget for a nice 'shack' setup, but I'd like to do SOMETHING   
   more than the HT when the time comes...
