EV>TW>I was an Interior Comunications Electricial and did the same thing on       EV>TW>a Submarine because of my Interenst in "Electronics". Which by the way       EV>TW>when I was in high School was called "Radio Electricity"              EV>Tom,              EV>In 1956 my High School had a Electronics class that I took before I       EV>could take the Radio I or II class.              EV>In Electronics, I learned Ohms Law and calculated the Voltage and       EV>Current in different circuits that we wired from schematics using the       EV>Large Wire Wound Resistors the teacher provided, and after doing the       EV>calculations we connected a 12 VDC storage battery to our circuit to see       EV>how close the VOM readings were to what we figured out on paper.              The Class I took in my Junior Year of High School(1947-48) was called       "Day Trade Radio". It was three hours per day where I learend all that       stuff plus more. Some in the class got their Ham Licences but the Code       baffled me so i had to be satisfied with the Theory needed only.       During the summer between my Junior and Senior i did get a job working       in a radio Repair Shop though.       ---        þ SLMR 2.1a þ 0         * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 And Still Here.
