Well, by using the original interpreters that came with the games (e.g., CUTTHROA.COM) and a command line like COMMAND.COM /C CUTTHROA.COM, I've got the Infocom stuff almost running. However, the original .COM files use ANSI, and it gets somewhat bolluxed up when it passes through Doorway. Despite Doorway's claims to be able to grab any screen output -- even direct screen writes -- none of the modern Infocom interpreters (which all do direct screen writes) seem to work with Doorway. If I could find an Infocom interpreter that does BIOS writes, that might just solve my problem. > time I never released it...
