Ken Johnson has the sources (current) and is working on Allfix but I do not
   know the status of work/s.

As far as I know all v5 where produced by the original programmer so the reg
   file is needed.

I do not know if Ken still maintains the reg system and although I have the
   one
from 2002 here it sits on a Linux system and it is not straght forward to use
assuming I can or should. I got the code base to fix allfix in the 2000's but
had a lot of issues with missing sources which required a major rebuild and my
skill set with Pascal was just plain not good enough so I passed it back.

One area I was interested was getting both Filemgr and Allfix to compile using
the FPC (Free Pascal Compiler). That way multi platform versions could be
compiled how ever at least for Filemgr it use both internal Assembler and
Assembler routines. Now many if not all of these can be discontinued to use
Pascal only as speed of moderm CPUs no longer present work flow when the
Filemgr / Allfix runs there are still various problems to deal with and as I
say my skillset with Pascal is now very rusty so I am hardly the right person
   for the task.

Can I suggest you try to use different products or versions to run Allfix
   under
and see if that fixes the problem of having CPU workloads at 100% as this
should not be happening. MAy be look at some other emulators of the Dos or
other environments that you can run in your systems environment.
