When one can't support older stuff.        SA> Its one thing to be out just for the money and ego but        SA> its another not even to support old stuff.               VC> The problem is: who is running (or remember technical details) of such        VC> a specific old version.               VC> This is on the basis that most users have upgraded to at least 5.13        VC> (in May 1999 or earlier) and possibly v6.0.18 (in July 2000 or        VC> earlier).                If a programmer doesn't keep old copies of his software for        bug or code purposes or for pure nostaglia then too bad. I        keep old copies so I can support my old products even if        they are 20 years old. A good company will do that. Some        of the biggest do that with mega corporations who still        support software going back to the ancient days of like 1991        for example. Its called in bussiness Goodwill. Besides        I still recall alot of aspects of the old versions so as long        as theres at least 1 there is support for it. There are        also many old files and faqs on the older versions. So ..there        we go..                                                        ... "I'm getting too old for this crowd." - Garibaldi       --- Fringe BBS        * Origin: EWOG II - AD&D RPGs!
