|    Some questions...    |

Hiya all...              I have some questions regarding Allfix. First, let me give you background on my       system       here. I'm running Synchronet 3.16b with Irex as my mailer on Windows Server       2008 Enterprise with tinytic doing my inbound file processing as of now. I       have Irex doing FREQ.              In reading the docs and also looking through the setup util, it shows that it       will process PKT's to scan for the filefind echo. Now I know it can't scan       Sync's message base but could I have it scan the PKT before SBBSEcho gets ahold       of the packet and tosses it. If so, I'd need it to create a small text file       announcing that my board has the file, which I am assuming it will through the       templets. I can then use a utility to import it into Sunc's msg base.       Or if that's not possible, can it create a PKT of it's own and attach it to a       .MSG       for Irex to ship it out to my uplink.              Second, importing of files from Janis. I am assuming it will place it in the       correct file directory but will it also create a small "announce" file I can       use to create msg's to import into my echo areas. I can then use a utility to       add the names to the file area and create the putgoing message.              The FILEFIND dir. listing seems pretty straight forward for FREQ so that should       be pretty simple to intergrate. I'm not sure whether I'll let ALLFIX or Irex       take care of that for now but it's good to have options.              If there's anything else you could pass along as far as problems I may run into       using Sync with Allfix, please, by all means let me know... :)              Thanks and hope to hear back from you soon!                     Bill              Telnet: tequilamockingbirdonline.net       IRC: irc.tequilamockingbirdonline.net Ports: 6661-6670 SSL: +6697       Radio: radio.tequilamockingbirdonline.net:8010/live                     ...
