I'm one of these that is not scared about EV. I would like to try one
out! The ony thing that bothers me is the range, but 99% of my driving
is to work, around the schools, and back home. Maybe 50 miles a day. When
I travel more than 100 miles one way in a day is when it will become an
   issue for me.

LOL :-) Our house is not perfectly North/South, but close enough that a
solar panel on the 'back' would work. I've started looking into that. Would
be nice to be able to knock my electric bill down to just a few dollars a
month, and maybe even 'sell back' some? I was reading about a 'power cell'
(don't remember exactly what it was called) that would basically hold spare
power so even in an outage your house can still function.
