They were claiming that immigrants were       "taking their jobs" and they couldn't get one. He meant those from South       of the border.              When I pointed out that the jobs they were taking where harvesting fruits       and veg, working on horse farms, etc., he said he believed they were taking       jobs from other Americans who were then taking jobs slightly better, etc.,       and that ripple effect was eventually causing his professional office job to       be taken.              I would point out that (1) the jobs the immigrants were taking were mostly       ones Americans didn't want to do, and (2) the ones "squeezed up" could only       take his job if they were also qualified.              I was eventually convinded that it was all just a cover for spending his       life living with his parents.                      * SLMR 2.1a * Life after death - is that Terminate and Stay Resident?       --- SBBSecho 3.20-Linux        * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105)       SEEN-BY: 1/19 16/0 19/37 103/705 104/119 105/81 106/201 114/10 120/616       SEEN-BY: 123/130 124/5016 128/187 142/104 153/757 7715 154/10 30 50       SEEN-BY: 154/110 700 203/0 218/700 220/20 90 221/0 1 6 226/18 30 44       SEEN-BY: 227/114 229/110 114 206 310 317 426 428 470 700 705 240/1120       SEEN-BY: 240/5832 263/1 266/512 280/464 5003 5006 291/111 292/854       SEEN-BY: 292/8125 301/1 310/31 320/119 219 319 2119 322/757 762 341/66       SEEN-BY: 341/234 342/200 396/45 423/81 120 460/58 467/888 633/280       SEEN-BY: 712/848 770/1 902/26 2320/0 105 3634/12 5020/400 5075/35       PATH: 2320/105 154/10 280/464 221/1 320/219 229/426           |
