   While I suspect that they didn't know what they were talking about, I do   
   wonder if taking the oath has any "expiration."  Obama took it in 2009 for   
   the first time.  I would assume that he is bound not to do any of those   
   things as a former President, either.   
      
   OTOH, if in 2013 he'd skipped some parts because he was "already covered,"   
   I would suspect he could also later argue that, since he was sworn in again   
   and since he didn't say those parts the second time he was no longer   
   covered by them.   
      
   So I suspect it was intentional on Trump's part.
