   USSC judges are federal judges.   
      
   If you read it as two separate sentences, it makes perfect sense.  The   
   federal judges appointed by both democrats and republicans have been ruling   
   against Trump, not because of who they are funded by, but because his   
   administration is attempting to do things that are blatantly illegal.
