For as far back as I can       remember (I'm 41) our presidents have always had access to public broadcast TV       channels to make any sort of announcement he wanted to make. (ABC, CBS, NBC,       PBS.) But Trump's speeches were dismissed as "campaigning" and almost       constantly were blocked by them.              To watch Trump speak to the public - especially during the virus breakout -       you had to go to foxnews.com and stream it. There was no watching it on public       broadcast, because he was blocked. Sometimes they'd show him for a couple       seconds, but then they'd just cut out to a reporter who could criticize him       negatively, then they'd change the subject entirely and forget about the       president.              That didn't seem fair, but maybe it was fair because if a political party is       rich enough to own all of the media, then maybe they deserve to get their       penny's worth.       --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A46 2020/08/26 (Linux/64)        * Origin: CompuBBS | Ashburn VA | cfbbs.scinet-ftn.org (1:275/99)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 10/0 1 14/0 15/0 19/36 80/1 88/0 90/1 102/401 103/705       SEEN-BY: 105/81 106/201 116/18 120/331 340 123/131 140 124/5016 153/7715       SEEN-BY: 154/10 203/0 218/0 1 401 410 501 700 720 802 810 840 850       SEEN-BY: 221/0 1 6 222/2 226/30 227/114 229/101 424 426 700 1016 1017       SEEN-BY: 230/150 152 240/1120 5832 249/206 317 250/1 261/38 100 1466       SEEN-BY: 266/512 267/155 275/0 89 91 93 95 98 99 100 101 201 301 280/464       SEEN-BY: 280/5003 282/464 1031 1038 1056 288/100 291/100 111 292/854       SEEN-BY: 292/8125 301/1 113 310/31 317/3 320/119 219 322/757 340/400       SEEN-BY: 341/66 342/200 396/45 423/120 460/58 640/1321 712/848 770/1       SEEN-BY: 801/161 188 189 197 202 900/100 106 108 902/6 7 25 26 27       SEEN-BY: 920/1 2320/105 2452/250 3634/12 5020/1042 5058/104       PATH: 275/99 100 261/38 218/700 103/705 280/464 292/854 301/1 80/1       PATH: 902/27 90/1 229/426           |
