   Hello Paul,

   >LL>You are being silly. Voter registration is for individuals only.
   >LL>Entire families cannot be registered as a unit. And people can only
   >LL>vote as individuals, not as entire families or groups of people.
   >LL> LL>When filing taxes, one can claim to be 'head of household'.
   >LL>But that is not the same as voting for everybody in the family.
   >LL>What silly nonsense.

   >If you don't think those instances arise, much more than if folks vote in
   > person, I think you're being silly.

I seriously doubt anybody has even tried to vote for an entire
family, much less accomplishing the impossible feat.

   >Dad is 55 years old and Pro Trump, but has a 19year old daughter and a 22
   > year old son. His 57 year old wife also votes; Dad is a bastard and used to
   > make the kids pick their own switches for whippings. When the ballots come
   > in, Dad checks them all and sends them off. That happens. As does
   > shenanigans at nursing homes, mentally assisted homes, etc etc etc. Its
   > just something that we don't need to ADD. Why would we?

Fortunately for us, we do not live in a banana republic.

   >I'd be more apt to be fine with it if we all voted online and used 2FA with
   > the individuals cell phones. IMO thats more safegaurded than PAPER ballots.
   > Ick.

Most people who voted by mail or voted early used paper ballots.
And also many who voted in person on election day. For states that
used electronic voting, having paper backup ballots is a must as
   a safeguard against voter fraud.

   >Its so 1980.

This is now, with many more options being available for voting.
We should go further, and increase those options, as well as expand
the voting rights to include ALL Americans, including those who are
   doing time in prison.
