   OK, let's give him the benefit of the doubt that his views evolved and changed   
   over time. It's possible, hell likely, people grow through experience.   
   So taking that as a given, why are we seeing such outrage directed at people   
   for things they said or did years ago, if more recent actions don't show them   
   still doing so?
