Vancouver's snow is wet and thick. Things dopn't stick out of it but it does
   not last lonmg.

The snow has stayed away so far but ourview is toward a range of hills and you
can see the snow line creeping down.

JK> 79F.. with high 70's through Tuesay.. will be nice if it sticks
JK> around, but I doubt it will.

Enjoy what you can when you can. :-) I'm off to warmer climes in two weeks.

I'd have no luck either. All my Fidonet software is legacy stuff and will run
under Windows 7 only in a VM.

JK> I'm sure there are a number of bbs where you can do that.

There are but how do I keep mymoderatopr's node address?

JK> You can use the web interface here, go to
JK> http://www.filegate.net:8080/bbbs You register as new user by
JK> clicking on the New User prompt on the very far right of the

JK> make message areas accessible in a gui.. You can enter messages and
JK> save them, and you can download qwk packets, but you can't upload
JK> replies.. sadly.. I may try again to get that working .. I wasn't
JK> successful the first time I tried. :(

Thanks for the offer. I will take a look.

   Take care,
