   nickA's system was not involved at all... it was due to a misconfiguration on   
   the above system that allowed another (look at the control lines) to areafix   
   echos that are in another network other than the network being joined... maybe   
   that sysop has learned something and tightened their configuration... then   
   again, maybe not ;)
